Kai Sotto's Anticipated NBA Debut Disappoints Fans as He Sits on the Bench Throughout the Game

In a highly anticipated matchup at the NBA Summer League, basketball enthusiasts woke up early to witness the first-ever appearance of Filipino cager Kai Sotto. However, their excitement quickly turned into disappointment as Sotto remained benched for the entirety of the game. The debut of the 7-foot-3 center was eagerly awaited by fans , hoping to witness the rising young talent make an impact on the court. But their hopes were dashed when Sotto did not see action against the Detroit Pistons. Prior to the game, Sotto's coach had informed him that he would not be fielded against Detroit. The coach clarified that contracted players and rookies would be given the opportunity to play first.
